As a Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team, and contributing to the development of nursing practice.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
- Provide direct nursing interventions, including crisis management and life-threatening situations
- Document patient information, including assessments, plans of care, and progress
- Lead group patient/family sessions and provide education and reference materials
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure effective team work
- Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Knowledge and ability to perform Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) procedures
- Ability to work as a member of an interdisciplinary team
- Decision-making and analytical skills
