CarrXpert Port Hawkesbury Collision Centre, a distinguished OEM-certified collision repair facility in the Strait Area, is seeking a highly skilled Body Repair Technician to join our team.

We offer a competitive salary of $55,000 per year, comprehensive group benefits plan, and a pension plan with a matching company contribution.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately and timely repairing automotive body damage caused by collision, weather, and other incidents.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Repairs vehicles per estimate and according to manufacturer standards.
  • Checks parts against estimate and ensures proper parts are ordered and received.
  • Prepares vehicles for body repair work.
  • Notifies management of any additional repairs needed that are not indicated on the work order.
  • Maintains tools and equipment in a proper state of repair, informs management of any items in disrepair, and participates in remedial action.
  • Maintains and wears all required safety and health personal protective equipment.
  • Cooperates and assists other personnel in the repair and prepping of vehicles.

Requirements:

  • Journeyman Certificate or Apprenticeship (an asset).
  • An interest in automotive body and/or mechanical repair is considered an asset.
  • Self-motivated with ability to deliver results.
  • Valid driver's license.
