About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner, Light Duty to join our team at Urban Home Developments. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, and pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  • Light Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, including addressing customers' complaints or concerns.
  • Work Environment: Ability to work independently, tight deadlines, attention to detail, bending, crouching, kneeling, combination of sitting, standing, walking, and lifting up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
  • Team Player: Dependability, organized, reliability, and team player skills are essential for this role.
  • Training and Support: Will train on the job, and a permanent position is available with 40 hours per week.
Requirements
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication.
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
