We are seeking a highly skilled Trade Compliance Specialist to join our team at TCWGlobal. As a Trade Compliance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that our company's trade compliance programs are in place and functioning effectively.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement trade compliance programs to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Conduct research on trade compliance regulations and provide high-quality analysis and recommendations.
- Create expert-level guidance for customers on trade compliance requirements.
- Evaluate and update guidance documents, export controls manuals, and other policy and/or process documents to ensure compliance with current rules and regulations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to stay abreast of trade regulatory changes and updates.
- Minimum of 4-5 years of experience working in trade controls, with an emphasis on export and import regulations in Canada and strong understanding of APAC, US, and EU regulations.
- Strong research and technical writing experience; BA/BS Degree in a relevant field (business, law, international studies, or logistics).
- Proven experience implementing and managing trade compliance programs and/or combined experience in Logistics, Tax, and Trade Compliance.
