About the Role

Vitrum Industries Ltd. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Manufacturing Coordinator to join our team in the glass production department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reporting and Documentation
    • Prepare and submit accurate and timely reports to management.
  • Problem-Solving and Technical Advice
    • Resolve work-related problems and provide technical guidance to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Training and Development
    • Train or arrange for training of glass forming and finishing machine operators and glass cutters.
  • Operations Oversight
    • Oversee the safety of operations and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Supply Chain Management
    • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Equipment Setup and Maintenance
    • Set up and maintain glass manufacturing equipment.
  • Team Supervision
    • Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of 3-4 team members, including glass forming and finishing machine operators and glass cutters.
  • Productivity and Quality Improvement
    • Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Skills and Knowledge
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in MS Excel.
  • Work Environment
    • Ability to work in a noisy environment.
    • Physically demanding role requiring handling of heavy loads.
  • Personal Qualities
