Job Title: Manufacturing Coordinator

Vitrum Industries Ltd. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Manufacturing Coordinator to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Manufacturing Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our glass manufacturing facility, ensuring that production meets quality and productivity standards. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and schedule activities of glass forming and finishing machine operators and glass cutters
  • Prepare and submit reports on production performance and quality control
  • Resolve work problems and provide technical advice to improve productivity and product quality
  • Train or arrange for training of employees on new equipment and processes
  • Oversee the safety of operations and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed
  • Set up machines and equipment for production runs
  • Supervise and review the work of employees to ensure quality and productivity standards are met
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Other trades certificate or diploma
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Physical ability to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment
