We are seeking a highly skilled Mainframe Systems Expert to join our team. This role involves providing technical support and expertise for z/OS products, primarily focused on Netview/System Automation.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in installing and supporting mainframe software products, with a strong understanding of mainframe z/OS technology. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions and businesses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and support various z/OS mainframe products
- Liaise with support teams in Production Mainframe Services, Mainframe Operating Systems group, application development groups, and other clients of supported products
- Direct research, identify and make recommendations on exploitation of new feature/function of supported vendor software
- Ensure products are kept at supported and current levels
- Troubleshoot problems with supported products in a timely fashion and resolve them quickly
Requirements:
- 10+ years of mainframe experience installing and supporting software products
- 5+ REXX coding experience
- IBM TSO, ISPF, JCL, SDSF, Netview/System Automation, and SMP/E experience
- Familiarity with change management processes
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
