Job Title: Technology Manager, Digital

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and direct a cross-functional software engineering team to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support IT solutions that align with business goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to design and develop systems and applications that meet business needs.
  • Develop and implement technical roadmaps for assigned technology assets, ensuring supportability, reliability, and scalability.
  • Work closely with the Product Owner to define and prioritize technical requirements and deliverables.
  • Monitor and improve the technical health and performance of assigned assets, including the transformation from Angular & C# to React.
  • Manage vendor relationships and the lifecycle of vendor platforms.
  • Enable and guide the team to deliver high-quality solutions in a sustainable and optimized manner.
  • Accountable for ensuring technical standards, guidelines, and principles are upheld by the team.
  • Own the technology KPIs and prioritization of assigned assets.
  • Set direction and vision for the team while guiding them through process implementation changes.
  • Coordinate team member activities, monitor productivity, quality, and morale.
  • Hold team members accountable for deliverables and high-quality work.
  • Performance management of team members.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years in a team leadership/management role in software solutions design and development.
  • Hands-on working knowledge of React, .net/C#, APIs, SQL, design library systems, scrum delivery, testing automation, and enterprise-class software solution design and development.
  • University degree or equivalent technical education.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent leadership ability, teamwork, and cooperation.
  • Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Passion for excellence and an innovative spirit.
  • Continuously learning and utilizing advantageous technology, practices, and processes.
  • Strong working knowledge and experience in application development, quality, deployment, and security practices.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, including the capability to break down complex enterprise needs into multi-phased, implementable solution plans.
  • Excellent knowledge of code management, build and release, and quality practices.
  • Ability to analyze system designs and review solutions for code and/or functional quality.
  • Ability to translate business needs into solution architecture requirements.
  • Ability to define multiple solution options to business problems.
  • Ability to quickly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new technologies.
