About the Opportunity

We're seeking a skilled Cloud-Native Software Engineer to join our mission in securing next-generation cloud-native applications. Our strategy focuses on open-source networking and security projects, setting the gold standard for application connectivity within large-scale cloud environments.

As a key member of our engineering team, you'll be responsible for developing, enhancing, and building new functionality in Golang. You'll also take ownership of the entire development process, from design to releasing to production.

This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate with a highly engineering-focused team that values diversity, collaboration, agility, and innovation. If you have experience working on distributed systems and are passionate about backend development, we'd love to hear from you

  • You'll work closely with our team to enhance and build new functionality in Golang
  • Take responsibility for the entire development process, including design, coding, testing, and releasing to production
Requirements

We're looking for someone with:

  • 8+ years of product-oriented software engineering experience
  • Hands-on experience with backend development languages like Golang (preferred), C, C++, Java, NodeJs, Python, etc.
  • A drive to get things done in a highly collaborative, agile development environment
  • A BS in CS or related/similar degree (equivalent experience may suffice)

  • A competitive salary range of $125,000 - $150,000 CAD per year
