Job Title: Sales Associate

The Children's Place is seeking a Sales Associate to support the Store Leadership Team in achieving company goals and initiatives. As a Sales Associate, you will play a key role in providing excellent customer service, maintaining a new and clean store and backroom, and meeting company standards of merchandise presentation and replenishment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service by being aware of customer activity and responding promptly to assist them.
  • Greet and acknowledge customers while providing the appropriate level of service.
  • Effectively communicate the value and quality of our merchandise and share current promotions.
  • Exercise sound judgment in addressing customer concerns and demonstrate selling skills to positively impact conversion.
  • Provide fast, friendly, and accurate service at the cashwrap and maintain appropriate stock levels.
  • Follow company standards of merchandise presentation, signage, and display.
  • Support and maintain a neat, clean, and organized stockroom and adhere to safety requirements.
  • Perform daily housekeeping duties to company standard and guarantee company assets.
  • Inform Store Leadership Team of maintenance and facility needs promptly.
  • Contribute focused, well-managed efforts towards achievement of store goals.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous retail experience preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

  • Excellent customer engagement.
  • Demonstrated time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Must be adaptable and flexible to changing priorities.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet business needs.
  • Ability to maneuver on sales floor and stockroom.
