We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Resident Assistant to join our team at Pan Am Clinic. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality care to our residents, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
Key Responsibilities- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
- Assist with meal preparation and serving
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
- Grade Xll education required
- Health Care Aide Certificate from recognized program
- Foundation to Therapeutic Recreation or willing to obtain
- Food Handler Training Certificate or willing to obtain
- Knowledge and understanding of basic computer skills including Outlook/Email, and ability to adapt easily to online training programs
- Minimum of one-year recent relevant experience preferred
- Experience working with an older adult population
