About the Role

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a skilled Systems Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our IT operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our infrastructure and applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the development team to deploy applications, migrate systems, and monitor infrastructure.
  • Configure and manage Windows Server environments, including clustering and security settings.
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, IIS, and Tomcat, as well as Linux environments, Docker, and DevOps tools.
  • Proactively identify and resolve system issues, and develop strategies for application deployment and system migration.
  • Communicate effectively with users and stakeholders to ensure transparent and successful migrations.
  • Recommend solutions and best practices for short, mid, and long-term goals.
Requirements
  • Strong experience with Windows Server, Microsoft SQL Server, and Linux environments.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as ASP, VB.NET, C#, and Java.
  • Experience with DevOps tools, including Jenkins, GIT, Team Foundation, and OpenShift.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
