Job Title: Retail Store Supervisor

OHM CONVENIENCE INC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our retail operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Train Staff: Lead and motivate a team of sales associates, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet sales targets and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Assign Sales Workers to Duties: Effectively allocate tasks and responsibilities to ensure a smooth and efficient store operation.
  • Hire and Train or Arrange for Training of Staff: Recruit and develop a talented team of sales associates, providing training and development opportunities to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Authorize Payments and Manage Inventory: Oversee the payment process, ensuring accurate and timely transactions, and manage inventory levels to minimize stockouts and overstocking.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels and meet business needs.
  • Sell Merchandise and Resolve Issues: Provide excellent customer service, resolving any issues or complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Prepare Reports and Analyze Sales Data: Compile and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth, providing insights to inform business decisions.
  • Support Diversity and Inclusion: Foster a welcoming and inclusive work environment, promoting diversity and inclusion through training and awareness programs.

Requirements:

  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail management role.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
