We are seeking a skilled and experienced Industrial Butcher to join our team at Sheik Halal Farms. As an Industrial Butcher, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of halal meat products.
Key Responsibilities- Slaughter and Processing: Slaughter livestock and remove viscera and other inedible parts from carcasses, ensuring compliance with halal standards.
- Cutting and Preparation: Cut beef, lamb, pork, or veal carcasses or sides or quarters of carcasses into primal cuts for further cutting, processing, or packaging.
- Meat Handling: Remove feathers and singe and wash poultry to prepare for further processing or packaging, and cut meat and poultry into specific cuts for institutional, commercial, or other wholesale use.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all meat products meet the highest standards of quality and halal certification.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Work Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a meat processing or packing plant.
- Work Setting: Meat processing and/or packing plant/establishment.
- Physical Demands: Physically demanding, requiring standing for extended periods, handling heavy loads, and repetitive tasks.
