At HOWARD THE BUTCHER FINE FOODS, we are seeking a skilled Retail Butcher to join our team. As a Retail Butcher, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality meats to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Clean and prepare meats for processing and cutting
- Prepare special cuts of meat ordered by customers
- Cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat
- Wrap and package prepared meats
- Remove bones from meat
- Cut poultry into parts
- Clean and prepare fish and shellfish
- Supervise other butchers, meat cutters, and fishmongers
- Train meat cutters
- Slice cooked meats
- Prepare special displays of meats, poultry, and fish products
- Shape, lace, and tie roasts, other meats, poultry, and seafood
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience
- Permanent employment
- English language proficiency
- 30 to 33 hours per week
