The Water Resources Engineer will play a crucial role in assisting in the development and maintenance of major flood control infrastructure operation software and manuals. This individual will provide technical support to the Province's hydrometric network and assist in the management of MIT's meteorological network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation of network assessment reports and development of the branch's hydrometric databases.
  • Management of MIT's meteorological network.
  • Maintenance of major flood control infrastructure operation software and manuals.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science or Engineering degree with specialization or additional education in Hydraulics/Hydrology.
  • Experience in conducting hydrologic analyses, including flood frequency analysis and hydrologic modeling for infrastructure planning, design, and climate change impact assessments.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
