About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Dental Assistant Instructor to join our team at International Education Corporation. As an Associate Instructor, you will play a vital role in delivering quality educational instruction to our students, helping them develop the technical and soft skills needed to succeed in their new career.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students through their education journey, providing guidance and mentorship to help them achieve their goals.
  • Help students determine their educational objectives and develop a plan to achieve them.
  • Deliver high-quality educational instruction, using a variety of teaching methods to engage students and promote learning.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of curriculum, ensuring it meets the needs of our students and the dental industry.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective learning environment.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, incorporating this knowledge into your teaching and curriculum development.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the dental field, with a strong background in dental assisting.
  • Current RDA license (or equivalent) and relevant certifications (e.g. X-Ray, Coronal Polishing, Pit and Fissure).
  • Experience in teaching or training is an asset, but not required if you have expertise in the field.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and management.
