Job Title: Tile Setter

We are seeking a skilled Tile Setter to join our team at JY SHINWOO CONSTRUCTION LTD. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, measuring, and marking surfaces to be covered, as well as mixing, applying, and spreading mortar, cement, mastic, glue, or other adhesives using a hand trowel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, measure, and mark surfaces to be covered
  • Mix, apply, and spread mortar, cement, mastic, glue, or other adhesives using a hand trowel
  • Set tiles in place and apply pressure to affix them to the base
  • Align and straighten tiles
  • Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power cutting tools
  • Lay and set mosaic tiles to create decorative wall, mural, and floor designs
  • Cut, surface, polish, and install marble and granite
  • Mix, lay, and polish terra surfaces
  • Install tile strips
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience
  • Commercial work setting
