Job Title: Assistant Manager, Adidas Retail Outlet Store

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Assistant Manager to join our team at the Adidas Retail Outlet Store. As a key member of the store management team, you will be responsible for assisting the Store Manager in ensuring all operational, business, and personnel targets are achieved for the store.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Excellence: Assist the Store Manager in managing the day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring compliance with all company policies and government legislation.
  • Team Leadership: Develop and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence, and promoting a positive work environment.
  • Customer Experience: Ensure that customers receive exceptional service, and that the store is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and organization.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in managing inventory levels, ensuring that stock is accurately counted, and that stockroom organization is maintained.
  • Visual Merchandising: Assist in maintaining the visual appeal of the store, ensuring that displays are attractive and well-maintained.
  • Performance Management: Assist in managing employee performance, providing coaching and feedback to ensure that employees are meeting their targets.
  • Adidas Brand Standards: Ensure that all Adidas brand standards are maintained, including product knowledge, visual merchandising, and customer service.
  • Store Security: Assist in maintaining store security, ensuring that all security protocols are followed, and that the store is secure at all times.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety protocols are followed, and that the store is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and organization.

Requirements:

  • College or University degree and 1 year of Retail experience, preferably in the Sporting Apparel & Footwear industry.
  • Prior management and key holder experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work a varied schedule, including weekends, evenings, and statutory holidays.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 25 kg.
