Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Adroit Facilities Services Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our cleaning staff, ensuring that our facilities are maintained to the highest standards.

Estimated Salary:

$55,000 - $65,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Description:

The Facilities Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for:

  • Hiring and training new staff members, or arranging for their training.
  • Coordinating the activities of our cleaning staff to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Inspecting our facilities to ensure that they meet our safety and cleanliness standards.
  • Preparing budgets and cost estimates for maintenance projects.
  • Recommending additional services required to maintain our facilities, such as painting or repairs.
  • Maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Receiving payment for specialized cleaning jobs.
  • Assisting our cleaning staff with their duties as needed.
  • Coordinating work activities with other departments within the company.
Work Environment:

The Facilities Maintenance Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment, often under pressure to meet tight deadlines. This role requires excellent physical fitness and the ability to handle heavy loads. The successful candidate will also need to be able to stand for extended periods and bend, crouch, and kneel regularly.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory or management role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual tasks.
