About the Role:

ATCO Frontec is seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician to support our emergency response camps in Western Canada. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing preventative and corrective maintenance, inspections, modifications, installation/dismantling of electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct timely inspections, testing, and accurate reporting of equipment defects/deficiencies
  • Complete timely maintenance services and quality repair of equipment
  • Provide input to the Maintenance Supervisor for planned and scheduled work and assist with the completion of the committed schedule
  • Assist with the scoping, estimating, planning, and execution of new work or projects
  • Ensure all installations, repairs, and maintenance meet the requirements of the appropriate codes
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Journeyman Certified Electrician (Red Seal) with a minimum of years' experience
  • Class license and clean drivers abstract required
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to read drawings and schematics
  • Ability to build and work in a team environment, with a strong commitment to personal and team safety
