We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physician Associate to join our team at Fraser Health. As a key member of our Palliative Medicine team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our vision of delivering exceptional healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in patient rounds and assessments, working collaboratively with Attending physicians and other care team members.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, responding to changing patient conditions and consulting with Attending staff as needed.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of excellence in patient care.
- Meet the qualifications and requirements for registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC).
- Medical degree from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of two years of postgraduate training in a relevant specialty.
- Successful completion of Part 1 of the Medical Council of Canada Qualifying Examination (MCCQE) or equivalent.
- Proficiency in English language, as established by the CPSBC.
- Eligibility for registration with the CPSBC in the Associate Physician class, under sponsorship by Fraser Health.
We are looking for a candidate who demonstrates the leadership practices of the Fraser Health Leadership Framework, including Clear, Caring, and Courageous. The ideal candidate will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-based environment.
