**Job Overview**

We are seeking an experienced Social Worker with a Master's degree to join our team as a Senior Geriatric Care Specialist at Extendicare Canada Inc. in Toronto.

**Compensation and Benefits**

**Key Responsibilities**

This position involves participating in resident admission processes, acting as a liaison with families and advocate for residents' rights, and providing therapeutic services through individual and group counseling. The successful candidate will also participate in interdisciplinary team processes, coordinate services with Psychogeriatric Consultants, and maintain accurate records and reports.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

To be considered for this role, you must have a Master's of Social Work from an accredited academic center, registration with the Canadian Association of Social Workers, and previous experience in a long-term care setting. Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential, along with expertise in working with geriatric populations and knowledge of applicable Ministry of Health and Long Term Care legislation and standards.
