Join Our Team as a Quality Assurance Technician

Inovata Foods, a leading food manufacturing company, is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Technician to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our products, from raw materials to finished goods.



Key Responsibilities


  • Monitor production, boxing, warehouse, and sanitation processes to ensure compliance with our HACCP system and internal quality audits.
  • Conduct daily quality checks and maintain quality data for all departments.
  • Participate in CFIA HACCP and SQF audits to ensure accurate documentation and corrective actions.
  • Calibrate departmental equipment to ensure consistency with Company, SQF, and CFIA specifications.
  • Train company personnel in GMPs, HACCP, and SQF Quality and Food Safety Programs.
  • Ensure all departments comply with our HACCP System, GMPs, and SQF Quality and Food Safety Program.
  • Maintain and perform the Company's environmental swabbing program.
  • Assist with microbiological sampling of finished products, raw materials, and environmental swabs.
  • Perform routine raw material sampling and review incoming receipts of pre-printed labels.
  • Participate in the preparation of daily sensory samples and sensory panel.
  • Ensure compliance with Food Safety and Quality Management System (SQF) standards.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Requirements


  • Experience working in a product development position, restaurant, or food science field.


Working Conditions

This position has daily exposure to a food processing environment, which includes dampness and cold. Position may require varying start times and extended working hours with occasional weekends.
