Job Title: Post Office Assistant

Canada Post is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Post Office Assistant. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional counter services to customers, sell postal products and services, and sort and distribute mail with precision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sell postal products and services to businesses and individuals
  • Sort and distribute mail with accuracy and efficiency
  • Provide customers with information and forms
  • Address delivery and service difficulties to resolve problems thoroughly and quickly

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or provincial equivalency
  • Experience in business administration or retail sales
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to lift mail containers of up to 50 lb and stand for extended periods
  • Flexibility to work temporary, on-call shifts

Working Conditions:

This is a safety-sensitive position, and as such, you will be required to undergo a security screening process. You will also be expected to work in a fast-paced environment with varying temperatures and conditions.
