The Prince Albert Grand Council is currently recruiting for a Community Development Officer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and promoting youth, young adult, and family programming in the community. This includes working with the YAC and PAGC Land Based Team/Coordinator to plan and deliver high-quality programs.

As a Community Development Officer, you will have the opportunity to work with diverse populations and make a meaningful impact in the lives of youth and families. You will be responsible for providing quality interaction and support to members, volunteers, and participants.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating and promoting youth, young adult, and family programming
  • Working with the YAC and PAGC Land Based Team/Coordinator to plan and deliver programs
  • Providing quality interaction and support to members, volunteers, and participants

Requirements for this position include:

  • Energetic and enthusiastic attitude towards working with youth, young adults, and families
  • Minimum 24 years of age and resident of the community
  • Cree speaker is an asset
  • Experience working with youth, young adults, and families
  • Demonstrated ability to provide quality lifestyle and effectively work with others
