Munck Cranes Inc. is seeking a skilled Overhead Crane Installation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for installing, setting up, and commissioning various types of lifting equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Installation and Commissioning: Install, set up, and commission overhead cranes, jibs, workstations, and other lifting equipment.
- Reading and Understanding Drawings: Read and understand drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate installation.
- Working at Heights: Work at heights on large steel structures, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts, elevated work platforms, and other heavy equipment as required.
- Runway and Column Installation: Maneuver and erect runways and columns for overhead crane installations.
- Health and Safety: Follow and abide by all Munck Cranes Inc. and customer health and safety policies and procedures.
- Quality and Safety: Work in fast-paced environments without sacrificing quality and safety.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service at all times.
- Inventory Management: Maintain and upkeep inventory on company trucks and have working knowledge and understanding of equipment.
- Millwright License: Possess a valid millwright license.
- Steel Erector and Structural Welder: Have experience as a steel erector and structural welder.
- Overhead Crane Installation Experience: Have at least 1 year of experience installing overhead cranes.
- CWB Welding Certificate: Hold a CWB welding certificate and 4-position ticket.
- Heavy Equipment Operation: Have experience operating heavy equipment.
- Rigging Experience: Possess rigging experience (an asset).
- Teamwork and Adaptability: Be able to work well independently and as part of a team.
- Physical Demands: Be able to stand for long periods and handle heavy loads.
- Flexibility: Be willing to work overtime, occasional weekend shifts, and in all weather conditions.
