Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess clients using evidence-based approaches and develop personalized therapy plans to address their mental health and wellness needs.
  • Collaborate with clients, caregivers, and healthcare providers to establish and prioritize expected outcomes and determine the best course of action.
  • Manage a complex caseload independently, utilizing your knowledge and expertise in psychosocial rehabilitation and trauma-informed care.
  • Participate in inter-agency and multidisciplinary team case management coordination as required.
  • Provide education and counseling to clients and families on functional and rehabilitation issues, including behavior, development, personal life, education, leisure, and work.
Requirements:
  • Masters of Social Work degree (M.S.W.) preferred; Bachelor's Degree in Social Work with relevant work experience will also be considered.
  • Current full registration with the New Brunswick Association of Social Workers (NBASW).
  • Recent, related experience working in a psychiatric or counselling setting with individuals who have complex mental health issues or equivalent.
