Radiological Technologist, Interventional Angiography Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiological Technologist, Interventional Angiography to join our team at Fraser Health. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for performing interventional and angiography procedures, diagnostic radiographic examinations, and ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Perform interventional and angiography procedures in accordance with established protocols and procedures.
- Conduct diagnostic radiographic examinations, ensuring accurate and high-quality images.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Monitor patient safety and well-being during procedures, responding promptly to any adverse reactions or emergencies.
- Operate and maintain radiographic and computerized imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
- Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities, including equipment testing and maintenance.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures.
- Provide education and training to staff, medical residents, and students on radiology procedures and equipment.
- Certification with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT).
- Minimum of two years' recent experience in interventional radiography or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of theory and practice for general radiology, angiography, and interventional procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
