We are seeking a highly skilled Radiological Technologist, Interventional Angiography to join our team at Fraser Health. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for performing interventional and angiography procedures, working closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Perform interventional and angiography procedures in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis and treatment of patients.
- Operate radiographic and computerized imaging equipment, including processing and archiving of acquired data.
- Monitor patient safety and well-being during procedures, responding promptly to any adverse reactions or emergencies.
- Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure high standards of patient care and safety.
- Develop and maintain statistical data related to department activity levels, attendance, and performance appraisals.
- Certification with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT).
- A minimum of two years' recent, related experience in interventional radiography or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of theory and practice for general radiology, angiography, and interventional procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
