We are seeking a Kinesiologist to join our team, responsible for implementing exercise and education programs that focus on increasing mobility, pain relief, building strength, and improving balance for seniors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement exercise programs tailored to seniors' needs, promoting independence, cognition, mobility, and quality of life.
  • Provide consistent approaches to prevent falls, reduce injuries, and increase awareness of safety within daily activities.
  • Prepare and maintain progress reports, collecting data on participants and producing metrics as requested.
  • Ensure safe use of equipment and proper infection control practices.
  • Support the development and implementation of programs and objectives.
  • Collect and analyze data for reporting purposes.

Qualifications:

  • Registered Kinesiologist or graduate of a university Kinesiology degree program, with the ability to write the CKO exam within 6 months.
  • First Aid (CPR & AED) Certification.
  • Full driver's license, reliable vehicle, and willingness to travel between sites.
  • Experience with seniors and group programming is an asset.
  • Mandatory requirement: full vaccination against COVID-19.
  • Bilingualism is preferred.
