About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Food and Beverage Supervisor to lead our team at Pomeroy Kananaskis Mountain Lodge. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest service, maintaining high standards of food quality, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of servers, bartenders, and hosts/hostesses to provide outstanding customer service and ensure seamless table management.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of menu items, including ingredients, preparation methods, and presentation standards.
  • Ensure that all restaurant areas, including the dining room, bar, and kitchen, are well-organized, clean, and up to date in terms of decor and equipment.
  • Monitor sales performance and identify opportunities to increase revenue through upselling, suggestive selling, and effective marketing strategies.
  • Manage staff schedules, conduct regular performance evaluations, and provide coaching and training as needed to ensure team members meet performance expectations.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with guests, responding promptly to complaints and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • 6 months of hands-on experience in a serving position, preferably in a fine dining or upscale casual environment.
  • Proven leadership skills, with experience supervising a team of servers, bartenders, and hosts/hostesses.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with guests, colleagues, and management.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Demonstrated commitment to delivering exceptional guest service, with a focus on providing personalized experiences that exceed expectations.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health and dental insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
