Key Responsibilities:

  • SAP TM Configuration: Configure the SAP TM module to meet business requirements, including order management, planning, freight settlement, and charge calculation.
  • Transportation Planning: Optimize transportation operations by managing routes, schedules, and resources.
  • Freight Order Management: Manage freight orders, bookings, and freight units within SAP TM.
  • Carrier Selection: Select and manage carriers, negotiate contracts, and monitor carrier performance.
  • Freight Costing & Settlement: Manage freight costing, invoicing, and settlement processes within SAP TM.
  • SAP Integration: Integrate SAP TM with other modules such as SAP ERP and SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management).
  • Transportation Network Design: Design and maintain transportation networks (locations, routes, zones) in SAP TM.
  • Charge Management: Calculate transportation charges based on factors such as distance, weight, and service levels.
  • Compliance & Reporting: Ensure compliance with legal requirements and generate reports for decision-making.
  • Master Data Management: Manage SAP TM master data elements like business partners, products, and resources.
  • EDI & Communication: Handle Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and other communication technologies for data exchange.
  • Project Management: Lead SAP TM implementation projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
  • Custom Development: Provide custom development in SAP TM using ABAP or other programming languages.
  • Transportation Analytics: Utilize analytics tools within SAP TM to analyze transportation operations.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders including logistics providers, customers, and internal teams.

Required Skills:

  • SAP TM Certification
  • Proficiency in freight management, transportation planning, and carrier selection.
  • Knowledge of SAP TM integration with other SAP modules.
  • Experience with custom development and SAP TM analytics.
  • Understanding of EDI and communication technologies.
  • Strong project management skills for SAP TM implementations.
  • Bilingual: English required; French is a big plus.

Work Model: Hybrid - Montreal preferred or remote with 25% travel.
