Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Networking Architect to join our team at NCR, driving digital transformation and innovation in cloud-based SaaS offerings. As a key member of our team, you will design, implement, and manage multi-cloud network architecture, ensuring exceptional consumer experiences and industry-leading technology.

About the Role

This is a high-impact opportunity for a skilled Cloud Networking Architect with 10+ years of experience in enterprise-level network architecture and design, including 5+ years in cloud networking design and implementation. You will work closely with our team to develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for cloud network design, standards, and governance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement 'cloud-ready' architectures for service availability, reliability, and performance.
  • Develop software development requirements and automate repeatable operations tasks (TOIL).
  • Maintain configuration management network and security standards and governance.
  • Enable clear communication with technical and business audiences through transparent reporting.
  • Manage network capacity for maximum availability and performance of services.
  • Develop SRE metrics and monitoring strategies (SLI, SLO, etc.).
  • Implement and exercise backup, HA, and DR solutions.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities, including incident reviews and change implementation reviews.
Requirements and Qualifications

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with:

  • BA/BS in Computer Science, MIS, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise-level network architecture and design.
  • 5+ years in cloud networking design and implementation.
  • 2+ years in software development (DevOps and network automation).
  • 2+ years of network provisioning automation and orchestration.
  • B2B or Hybrid Cloud network design experience or exposure.
  • Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
  • Knowledge of Jira, Project Management tools, ServiceNow, Observability tools (Dynatrace, AppDynamics), PowerPoint, Word, and Excel desirable.
  • Working knowledge of other cloud automation tools like Ansible, Rundeck, and Chef.
What We Offer

NCR offers a competitive salary range of $180,000 - $250,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
