Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Driver to join our team at EMCO Corporation. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely operating a delivery vehicle, loading and unloading materials, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate a delivery vehicle in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
  • Load and unload materials at customer and vendor locations, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, resolving any issues or discrepancies in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and any issues encountered.
  • Collaborate with the Profit Centre Manager and Warehouse Supervisor to ensure seamless logistics operations.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge in transportation and logistics.

Requirements

  • Grade 12 diploma or equivalent; college and/or university degree an asset.
  • Valid driver's license; DZ license considered an asset.
  • Clean driver's abstract demonstrating good driving skills and adherence to company policy.
  • Experience driving a truck and making deliveries preferred.
  • Knowledge of laws and regulations governing driving motor vehicles and commercial vehicles.
  • Ability to safely operate a delivery vehicle and material handling equipment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service.
