Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Driver to join our team at EMCO Corporation. As a Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a delivery vehicle, loading and unloading materials, and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive a delivery vehicle in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to company policies and regulations.
- Load and unload materials at customer and vendor locations, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
- Provide exceptional customer service, resolving any issues or discrepancies in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and any issues encountered.
- Collaborate with the Profit Centre team to ensure seamless delivery operations.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent; college and/or university degree an asset.
- Valid driver's license; DZ license considered an asset.
- Clean driver's abstract demonstrating good driving skills.
- Experience driving a truck and making deliveries preferred.
- Knowledge of laws and regulations governing driving motor vehicles and commercial vehicles.
- Ability to safely operate a delivery vehicle and material handling equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills
- Previous experience with or knowledge of the Waterworks Industry or products sold at the Profit Centre.
