We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Practical Nurse to join our team at Aspira Red Oak Retirement Living. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our residents and supporting their overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide nursing care in accordance with established policies, physician's orders, and resident plans of care.
- Create a comfortable and safe environment that promotes privacy, dignity, autonomy, and individuality.
- Foster a collaborative atmosphere that encourages effective communication and teamwork among care team members.
- Liaise with medical team members, nurse specialists, and consultants to support effective clinical care.
- Demonstrate professional working knowledge of equipment used in nursing care.
- Diploma in Practical Nursing.
- Current registration as a Registered Practical Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Successful annual completion of RAI MDS certification as per Ministry of Health requirements for AIS.
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certificate.
- All applicants must successfully pass the prescribed Vulnerable Sector Check.
