Position Summary
Registered Technologist, MRI
This role involves performing high-quality MRI examinations that meet the established standards of the Department and the CMRTO. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform MRI examinations to the highest standards, adhering to established protocols and procedures.
- Operate MRI equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring proper maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge in MRI imaging.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment, promoting a culture of safety, respect, and excellence.
Requirements
- Current registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRTO).
- BCLS certification an asset.
- Post-graduate experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Membership with the CAMRT is recommended.
- Experience in MRI is an asset.
- Post-graduate courses in MRI is an asset.
- Must have IV and contrast injection experience an asset.
- Bilingualism in French/English is an asset.
