RhynoCare, a reputable healthcare provider, is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join their team at their state-of-the-art facility.

**Job Summary:**

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced CT technician to provide clear images to Physicians through CT scanning. The successful candidate will be responsible for following Physicians' instructions, explaining the procedure to patients, selecting software options and imaging parameters on the MRI machine, viewing images from the imaging session, and keeping records of reports.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Producing high-quality radiographs and computed tomography images with accountability for storing images and recording them as required.
  • Completing examinations requested by medical staff in accordance with procedures set out in appropriate manuals.
  • Assisting the Radiologist in the performance of their procedures and ensuring patient comfort and safety.
  • Maintaining technical competence as required under the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO).

**Requirements:**

  • Eligibility for CMRITO license by spring 2025.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of all radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations, photographic techniques, pathology, and record-keeping required to operate in the Diagnostic Imaging Department.
  • Proven ability to use varied X-Ray and ancillary equipment to provide high-quality diagnostic images for the Radiologist.
  • Ability to perform IV insertions and inject CT contrast.
  • Effective communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to assess requests and prioritize them to ensure excellent and prompt patient care.
  • Ability to adapt standard work procedures to emergency situations.
  • Flexibility to work all shifts on short notice, take stand-by call, and be on site within 30 minutes.

**What We Offer:**

$45 - $55 per hour depending on experience.
