About the Role

As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of maintenance staff and contractors to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Mentorship: Provide guidance, coaching, and feedback to maintenance staff and contractors to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their duties safely and effectively.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that encourages open communication, teamwork, and a shared commitment to safety and excellence.
  • Facility Optimization: Identify opportunities to improve facility efficiency and optimize maintenance processes to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure that all maintenance activities are conducted in accordance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, and that all employees and contractors are aware of and adhere to the company's Life Saving Rules.
  • Communication and Reporting: Provide regular updates to management on maintenance activities, progress, and any issues or concerns that may impact facility operations.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Journeyperson certification with 5+ years of experience in pipefitting, mechanics, or millwrighting, with a strong understanding of gas plant and facility operations.
  • Leadership and Communication Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, with excellent written and verbal communication skills to interface with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of MS Office and other business-related computer programs and applications, with experience using SAP Maintenance Management highly desirable.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong physical presence and willingness to take a 'hands-on' lead in the field when necessary.
