About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Canfor. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our sawmill, while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and direction to maintenance teams to ensure effective execution of maintenance programs
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance plans to minimize downtime and optimize production
  • Collaborate with production teams to ensure seamless integration of maintenance activities with production schedules
  • Monitor and analyze maintenance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations, and maintain a safe working environment
Requirements
  • Proven experience in maintenance leadership roles, preferably in industrial manufacturing
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to lead and motivate teams
  • Knowledge of electronic-based maintenance programs and interprovincial trade qualifications an asset
