Painter - Exterior and Interior Specialist

  • As an Exterior and Interior Specialist at Ultimate Painting INC., you will be responsible for preparing, cleaning, and sanding surfaces to be painted, as well as mixing paint to desired color and texture.
  • You will also be required to measure, cut, and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls, and advise consumers on colors and choice of wall coverings.
  • Additionally, you will need to erect scaffolding and swing stages and attach rigging, and apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces.
  • Your expertise in various coatings and finishes will be essential in delivering high-quality results and meeting the needs of our customers.
  • Key responsibilities will include estimating costs and materials, operating airless spray equipment, and maintaining a safe and efficient worksite environment.
  • We are looking for a skilled and experienced painter who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment and who is committed to delivering exceptional results.
  • Work Environment: You will be working outdoors and at heights, and will be exposed to odors and various locations.
  • Equipment and Machinery Experience: You will be operating airless spray equipment, and will have experience with brush painting, conventional spray painting, multi-ratio pump spraying, and roller painting.
  • Coating/ Application Specialization: You will have expertise in aggregate painting, sign painting, multi-color finishes, urethanes, metallized coatings, and lead-based removal and encapsulation.
  • Physical Abilities: You will need to be physically demanding, with the ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a variety of positions, including bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Personal Suitability: You will need to be a team player, with strong communication and interpersonal skills, and a commitment to punctuality and time management.
