Cleaning and Maintenance Supervisor Job Description

Klean City Property Management Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Cleaning and Maintenance Supervisor to join our team.

Job Summary

The Cleaning and Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the cleaning and maintenance operations of our facilities, ensuring a safe and clean environment for our clients and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hire, train, and supervise cleaning staff to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Inspect facilities to ensure compliance with safety and cleanliness standards.
  • Prepare budgets and cost estimates for cleaning and maintenance services.
  • Recommend additional services required, such as painting, repair work, or replacement of furnishings and equipment.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and receive payment for specialized cleaning jobs.
  • Assist cleaners in performing duties and coordinate work activities with other departments.
  • Establish work schedules and supervise a team of 5-10 people, including janitors, caretakers, and building superintendents.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a supervisory role.
  • Basic security clearance.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Physical demands of the job include standing for long periods and lifting heavy objects.
