Job Title: Food Counter Attendant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at Denny's Fort St John. As a Food Counter Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving food, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and sanitize food preparation areas, utensils, and equipment
  • Prepare and serve food to customers in a timely and efficient manner
  • Operate a cash register and process customer transactions
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the dishroom and food preparation areas
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer complaints in a professional manner
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in a food service environment an asset
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time
