We are seeking a skilled Commercial Development Specialist to oversee and develop a diverse portfolio of customers and prospects, encompassing SMEs to large industrial units in various sectors such as steel, chemicals, energy, automotive, equipment manufacturers, and food processing.
Job Responsibilities:
The key responsibilities of this position include
- Implementing and adhering to QHSE procedures in line with company policies
- Enhancing existing client relationships with a focus on profitability
- Boosting sales and profit margins through strategic prospecting in accordance with our commercial strategy
- Expanding our service offerings, including oil in service analysis, training, and auditing
- Collaborating with Key Accounts to promote lubricant sales alongside fellow Technical Sales Managers
- Tracking and maintaining accurate records of commercial interactions within SALSA: contacts, visits, opportunities, etc.
- Creating tailored technical and commercial proposals as required
- Providing expert technical support to clients and determining necessary actions with management and our Technical and Training teams
- Addressing any disputes and reviewing contracts with clients
- Delivering insightful market data on prices, competitors, products, and services
- Examining performance metrics and contributing to goal-setting
- Working closely with our Customer Service Team
- Promoting new product launches and developing innovative sales strategies
- Aiding in debt recovery efforts
Requirements:
To excel in this role, you will need
- A degree in commerce or a related field
- At least 5 years of proven commercial experience
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills
- A high level of autonomy and business acumen
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
- A dynamic approach, coupled with excellent teamwork and entrepreneurial spirit
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
