Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Purchasing Analyst to join our head office activities. As a key member of our team, you will play a central role in data analysis, enabling informed decision-making and driving business growth.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Analyzing purchase and indirect price trends to inform strategic decisions
  • Developing and implementing performance indicators for purchasing and indirect prices
  • Interpreting analysis results and identifying areas for improvement
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize supply chain processes
Responsibilities

Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Ensuring the production of high-quality analyses on purchase and indirect price evolution
  • Participating in the establishment of performance indicators for purchasing and indirect prices
  • Interpreting analysis results to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Actively participating in the implementation of parameters and data for new product introductions and forecasting system improvements
  • Evaluating business processes to ensure alignment with evolving departmental needs
  • Optimizing ingredient and packaging inventory management and security levels
  • Documented changes, collaboration in their implementation, and validation of compliance
  • Communicating effectively with stakeholders to facilitate decision-making and support buyers within the organization
Necessary Skills and Abilities

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A bachelor's degree in administration, supply management, or a related field
  • Five years of relevant experience in a similar position
  • Excellent knowledge of analysis tools and software
  • Proficiency in MS Suite Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP an asset)
  • Knowledge of food processing environments and standards (an asset)
