Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at SANGAM BANQUET & EVENT CENTRE LTD. As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Housekeeping and Cleaning
    • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
    • Dust furniture and fixtures to ensure a dust-free environment.
    • Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture to maintain a clean and tidy appearance.
    • Make beds and change sheets to ensure a clean and comfortable sleeping environment.
    • Distribute clean towels and toiletries to guests.
  • Lost and Found
    • Handle and report lost and found items to ensure a smooth and efficient process.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide basic information on facilities to guests.
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Launder clothing and household linens to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
    • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties as required.
    • Wash windows, walls, and ceilings to maintain a clean and tidy appearance.
  • Work Environment
    • Work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of customer interaction.
    • Work 35 hours per week, with flexibility to work varying shifts as required.
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience an asset, but not required.
Language

English is the primary language spoken in this role.
