Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at SANGAM BANQUET & EVENT CENTRE LTD. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Housekeeping and Cleaning Duties
    • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and hygienic environment
    • Dust furniture and fixtures to ensure a dust-free environment
    • Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture to maintain a clean and tidy appearance
    • Make beds and change sheets to ensure a clean and comfortable sleeping environment
    • Distribute clean towels and toiletries to guests and staff
  • Lost and Found Management
    • Handle and report lost and found items to ensure their safe return to their owners
  • Customer Service
    • Provide basic information on facilities and services to guests and staff
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Administrative Support
    • Launder clothing and household linens to maintain a clean and hygienic environment
    • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties as required
    • Wash windows, walls, and ceilings to maintain a clean and tidy appearance
  • Work Environment
    • Work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
    • Work independently with minimal supervision
    • Work as part of a team to achieve common goals and objectives
  • Requirements
    • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
    • Experience an asset
    • Ability to work in a team environment
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
    • Ability to lift and move heavy objects
    • Ability to stand for long periods of time
