About the Role

Fork and Farm Catered Events is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in the planning, preparation, and execution of our events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, including cooks, sous chefs, and other support staff.
  • Ensure that all food safety and sanitation standards are met, and that the kitchen is maintained in a clean and organized manner.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop and implement new recipes and menu items.
  • Assist with inventory management, ordering supplies, and managing kitchen budgets.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure that all guests receive a high-quality dining experience.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a sous chef or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
