About the Role
The Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) Technical Consultant will oversee all project tasks and outcomes linked to OTM infrastructure and platform architecture. This individual will be responsible for managing configurations within the OTM cloud environment and delivering assistance to IT and business associates.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect the OTM infrastructure and platform architecture, providing guidance to clients on system architecture and sizing.
- Design and configure advanced OTM Workflow Agents.
- Install and upgrade OTM platform components, including Oracle HTTP Server, Weblogic, Oracle Database, and OBIEE.
- Design and develop OTM integrations.
- Migrate and load data.
- Design and develop operational and analytical reports.
- Tune performance, configure scalability, and troubleshoot issues.
- Develop product extensions, integrations, and reports.
- Support solution documentation and testing.
- Collaborate with supply chain application teams on initiatives to improve and sustain critical business systems and processes.
- Maintain relationships with interfacing groups within IT and across business boundaries.
Requirements
- Education in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
- A minimum of one full-cycle implementation as a technical consultant using Oracle OTM.
- Configuration skills within the OTM Cloud.
- Five or more years of relevant experience in Oracle implementation activities.
- Demonstrated competency in technical skills, including Weblogic Server, Oracle Database, SQL/PL-SQL, Java/J2EE, Apache/Tomcat, BPEL, SOA, BI Publisher, OBIEE, and Oracle technology stack.
- Demonstrated competency in SQL query design and performance tuning.
- Ability to work directly with Oracle Support and R&D teams.
- Demonstrated competency in architecting solutions using multiple software components, including Oracle OTM and other supply chain applications.
- Experience with Atlassian Confluence and JIRA.
- Superior writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Good facilitation and presentation skills.
- Superior organizational skills.
- Able to work in a team environment with a sense of urgency towards timelines.
- Adaptable and flexible, with a proactive approach.
